INVESTIGATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING  

• COUNTY ASSESSOR/REAL PROPERTY OWNERSHIP RECORDS
Searched to determine if the subject owns any real property, and is also helpful in identifying a current address for the claimant.
• BUSINESS SALES TAX LICENSE
License records are searched to disclose any business licenses held in the subject's name which would reflect the business name, location and the date the business operated.
• LITIGATION/SUPERIOR COURT INDICES
Searched to determine if there are any civil or criminal actions listed under the subject's name. Additional research can be conducted if cases are found involving the subject.
• DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION/MOTOR VEHICLE DIVISION
Records are reviewed for information from an individual's driver's license and motor vehicle ownership. Driver's license records reflect not only address information but a physical description as well. A driver's license photo is also obtained for positive identification of the subject.

• SECRETARY OF STATE
Uniform Commercial Code filings are searched to determine if there are any federal, state, or municipal tax liens or financing statements filed in the subject's name. These records could indicate business ownership or other property interests.
• UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT
Records will reflect bankruptcy filings and any civil cases filed or criminal actions prosecuted at the federal level.

• PRIVATELY MAINTAINED COMPUTER DATABASES
May reflect previous and current addresses and/or employment history, as well as if the subject is using an alias and different social security number.
• FIELD RESEARCH
Consists of contacting neighbors, friends, business acquaintances, etc. that are familiar with the subject as well as speaking with the subject, if they are not represented by an attorney.

• Our computer technology enables our clients to assign investigations through our website and final reports can be transmitted electronically. Digital stills of the subject may be included in the report upon request.
• All investigators are equipped with cellular phones, and those working in remote locations communicate with the corporate office or respective office via email and laptop computers. Investigators are provided with a complete background profile on every subject prior to initiating surveillance but have immediate access to a variety of public and private computer databases while in the field should the need arise.
• Digital video is also available and in situations where video needs to be obtained indoors, discreetly, and in close proximity to a subject, investigators use undercover pinhole cameras. The professional grade equipment utilized also enables our investigators to obtain video in low light conditions. For those situations where static surveillance is necessary, we offer time/lapse equipment that can be configured for a variety of applications.
• Kolb, Stewart & Associates, Inc. provides electronic Streaming Video enabling each of our clients to promptly review their video surveillance via email.
• Copies of videotape obtained during an investigation can be produced in a variety of formats suchas DVD, Video-CD, Hi-8, Digital-8, VHS, & VHS-C.
